Nikon is going to try its hand again at launching an Android-powered camera, but it seems to have upped its game a bit this time.
The new Nikon Coolpix S810c is the latest camera to attempt to integrate the Android operating system into itself and make it a truly smart camera. The S810c will be powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and will have access to all of the normal Google services including the Play Store.
As for the camera aspect of the S810c, it will feature a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, 12x optical zoom, ISO up to 3200, vibration reduction, low-light capabilities, 1080p video and more.
The S810c will also be sporting some smartphone like features such as a 3.7-in. touch-screen LCD, Wi-Fi, GPS and the ability to shre your images immediately to your social networks when connected to the Internet.
The Nikon Coolpix S810c will be released in May with a suggested retail price of $349.95.

The COOLPIX S810c features a 16.0-megapixel, backside illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor for excellent low-light ability, and a 12x optical zoom NIKKOR lens (with24x Dynamic Fine Zoom) to get the sharp shots from up close or far away. Further bolstering the low-light capability of the S810c, the camera has an ISO range up to 3200, as well as Lens-Shift Vibration Reduction (VR) to help banish blurry photos, even while shooting handheld.
