Microsoft on Tuesday announced that a new version of the Windows 10 Mobile Preview is available for download. Build 10136 will replace build 10080 as the latest software available, but you’ll need to jump through a few hoops to get it installed.

We’ll get to the new features in just a second, because there’s a few important things you need to know about first. Microsoft said that anyone on the earlier 10080 build of Windows 10 Mobile now needs to revert to Windows 8.1 and then re-enter the program and select “Insider Fast” for the most recent update. It’s definitely an annoying step, but Microsoft said it’s required to solve migration issues that it ran into. Once you’ve applied the update, you’ll see a lock screen that “will appear frozen without the date and time for up to 10 minutes,” but Microsoft said this is normal and you need to just wait for the system to “do its thing.”

OK, now the good news. The update includes improvements to Cortana, and Microsoft said she’s “now very close to our final design.” You’ll find a new UI, flight tracking options, support for weather, currency and stock quote queries and more. Also, Microsoft said it fixed a ton of systemwide issues, and that the “UX will feel more complete than what you used in 10080.” Other features include improvements to the Photos and Camera apps, support for one-handed use on phones with screens larger than 5 inches, and plenty of bug fixes.
