Motorola’s new Moto Z series is one of the first flagship Androids that ships without a headphone jack, but it might not always be that way. A leaked Moto Z frame reveals Lenovo may be planning another model with a 3.5mm port built-in.

Apple is expected to ditch the headphone jack from its upcoming iPhone 7 series to make room for upgraded and additional components, but Lenovo beat the company to it with the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, which went on sale last week.

Both devices have just a USB-C port, but Lenovo bundles an adapter that lets you plug your existing headphones into the USB-C port. Later on, you might not need that adapter. A leaked Moto Z frame suggests there will be another model with a 3.5mm jack later on.

That frame is pictured above, sandwiched between the existing Moto Z and Moto Z Force housings. It appears to be getting the same USB-C port, and a shiny chamfered edge around its front. But don’t get your hopes up just yet.

Although this could be a frame for a future Moto Z iteration, it could also be from an early prototype that has since been ditched by Lenovo. If you’re itching to get a Moto Z, then, you probably shouldn’t hold out too long for this version.
