Microsoft is reportedly gearing up to reveal a new Surface product currently code named “Cardinal” during an event in October, ZDNet said Thursday.

Several rumors have suggested Microsoft is working on new Surface products, and ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley, always with an ear-to-the-ground on Microsoft happenings, believes this will be the company’s all-in-one computer.

Foley said Microsoft has multiple sizes planned for the desktop computer, which will presumably run Windows 10 Anniversary, including 21-inch, 24-inch and 27-inch options. Given Windows 10 Anniversary’s focus on touch input, we believe these will also have touchscreen displays.

Foley said we shouldn’t expect entirely new Surface Pro products until the spring, but that Microsoft may refresh its existing products with faster processors.
