A new set of photos revealing Samsung’s mysterious Tizen 3.0 OS have leaked online, this time showing the operating system running on the Galaxy S III. The new batch of photos depict Tizen’s home screen and digital key pad, as well as the lock screen being activated by a stylus.

The newest Tizen 3.0 photos looks a lot cleaner than anything we’ve seen before. Samsung’s operating system has been in development for a while now, but according to a recent report the OS faced numerous delays due to CEO JK Shin’s demands for perfection. The same report claimed Tizen was being tested on the Galaxy S III until the handset was deemed unworthy of the company’s own software.

The first Tizen-powered smartphone was initially expected to launch this year, but is now expected to land in 2014 at the earliest. Samsung also recently announced a Tizen app development challenge in an effort to promote the OS. The contest offers $4 million in prizes and runs through November 1.
