A "berry pink" version of the highly successful Samsung Galaxy Note went on sale in South Korea on Monday. The "berry pink" Note will be targeted at female customers, however, the pre-loaded Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system may actually gain the attention of male and female consumers alike, since ICS isn't available on earlier versions of the device yet.

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Note's Ice Cream Sandwich update is expected to land sometime in the second-quarter of this year. If that isn't fast enough for you, and you don't want the "berry pink" Note, there are communities of hackers that are working on alternative options.

Samsung hasn't discussed any plans to bring the "berry pink" Galaxy Note to the United States, so you may have to import the phone if you're interested in a Galaxy Note with ICS out of the box.
