Mark it down, folks: this is the first time dubstep has ever gotten me pumped for anything. This new Assassin's Creed: Revelations trailer takes the crazy method of music and applies it in generous portions in order to achieve an exceptionally awesome effect that screams "epic" the whole way through.

More than 2 minutes of in game footage is delivered across the actions of Altair and Ezio, and there's even a brief hint of Desmond at one point. As the title suggests, and so we're hoping, Assassin's Creed: Revelations should go far in revealing a lot of the cloak and dagger craziness happening within the Assassins and Templars. After the ending of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, most fans are positively dying to find out what happens next and which group is behind what.

Things get really nerdy for me when I find myself giddy once I notice the game will feature snow. I have no idea what it is about me and the snow environments and settings in games, but I always find that some of the best atmospheres are achieved when the landscape is covered in powder and there's a constant snowfall. Add that to the Assassin's Creed storyline and Revelations may actually force me to lock myself away for a week to fully enjoy it once it drops.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is currently set for a November 15th, 2011 release date from Ubisoft. As the close of the trailer indicates, pre-ordering the game from GameStop will land you a slew of free, exclusive goodies like the soundtrack, bonus game content and an animated short.

I'll stick to my guns: I absolutely hate it when games feature retailer specific content. The pressure falls squarely on the shoulders of the consumer. Rather than being excited about the simple act of ordering a game, we're faced with a choice that, for some reason or another, feels stupidly important.

Am I alone there?
