Apple started selling its new set top box online a few days ago, but now you can pick one up in person as well. The upgraded Apple TV is available at the company’s stores, along with a few other retailers.

Beyond the Apple Store ,9to5mac said Best Buy, Target and MacMall all have some stock available now. You can reserve a unit for in-store pickup, or simply head over to a nearby store and hope for the best. However, the Apple Store is probably the easiest place to find the new device, at least initially. Best Buy’s website, for example, still says “coming soon,” with no option to reserve a unit. It’s possible that will change later in the day.

The Apple TV features a totally redesigned operating system based on iOS, offering smart voice controls with universal search, and a new touchpad remote. It also runs third-party apps, including games, expanding what the Cupertino company’s set top box can do beyond traditional video streaming. It’s available starting at $149 with 32GB of storage, though there’s also a 64GB model for $199.

If you’re already an Apple TV fan this is probably worth the upgrade. We’ll have more coverage once we get our own copy of the new set top box, though based on everything we’ve seen so far it looks like a pretty sweet device.
