Apple MacBook with Retina 2015-11

Apple may quietly release two new computers on Wednesday. French tech blog MacG reports that the company is ready to launch a Force Touch-enabled 15-inch MacBook Pro along with an upgraded non-Retina 27-inch iMac.

Cupertino already offers two Force Touch laptops: the new MacBook and the upgraded 13-inch MacBook Pro. So it makes sense that the 15-inch laptop could be next in line for a haptic feedback trackpad. Apple’s also apparently cleared up some early manufacturing issues with the tiny vibration module, which could explain why the new MacBook Pro is only launching this week.

As for the iMac, it’s unclear exactly what Apple plans to change. We may just get some new processors or a better price for the 27-inch desktop computer, now that a higher-end Retina version is available. Hopefully we’ll know for sure later this week.

Apple isn’t likely to make a big announcement for these new Macs. We’ll be keeping an eye on the company’s online store though, and we’ll be sure to let you know just as soon as the allegedly updated computers go on sale.
