In case you were wondering exactly how legitimate the portable version of Uncharted would be with Golden Abyss, the video you see above posted on YouTube by PlayStation should demonstrate the lengths the dev team is going to to make the game great.

As Nathan Drake (played by Nolan North) and Victor "Sully" Sullivan (played by Richard McGonagle) row their invisible boat down river in order to record motion capture footage, fans of the franchise will likely note that this is indeed the real deal. SCE Bend Studio, the team behind the PS Vita's upcoming Uncharted: Golden Abyss, look like they aimed to create the same back-and-forth banter and friendship that makes the Uncharted franchise so beloved.

As Japan is among the only countries to have played through Uncharted: Golden Abyss in their native language at this point, their review scores for the game are what western fans can look towards for an early glimpse of what's the come. Famitsu, the well regarded Japanese gaming magazine, rated Golden Abyss at 35/40 (three 9s and an 8), which is a great score.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss will be available in North America when the PS Vita launches. That date is February 22nd, 2012.
