Inspired by the Ferrari 458, the Motorola i867 Ferrari is on its way to Nextel Brazil.

The new Motorola i867 Ferrari handset may take its inspiration from a high-performance car, but beyond the design aesthetics, that appears to be where the inspiration comes to an end.  The new handset carries on the long tradition of designer phones focusing solely on the appearance and then totally skimping on the internals.   The press release didn't reveal anything along the lines of the processor, or which version fo Android it will run, but it sports only 200MB of built-in storage, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 3.1-inch screen.

How much will the Motorola i867 Ferrari set you back?  Do keep in mind that gadgets have a history of being more expensive in Brazil, but it will still cost you a whopping R$ 1,499 (approx. $741 USD) or R$ 799 (approx. $395 USD) with a data plan.

We'll definitely have to say this would be a pass for us.
