The Motorola Fire is a new Android Gingerbread handset coming to the U.K. next month.  Billed as a social and messaging phone, the focus here is pretty clearly on communication thanks to the physical QWERTY keyboard and diminutive 2.8-inch QVGA screen.

Motorola FireThe Fire seems to be trying to address several types of customers with its mode switching capability with different screens available for work, social and entertainment.  Not quite sure how this is different from just flipping through your home screens, but that appears to be one of the big selling points for the phone.

One benefit of the screen is the 1420mAh battery should allow you to get through the day without needing to worry about a recharge.
