Dubbed the Moto Z2, the handset is expected to launch alongside the Moto Z2 Force and Moto Z2 Play later this year, with a dual-camera setup and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.

In this latest batch of images from Slashgear, the handset is enclosed in a protective cover, so it’s difficult to gauge exactly how wide it is, but based on initial impressions, it’s marginally thinner than the Moto Z.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Motorola has reconsidered the fate of the 3.5mm headphone jack as — like its predecessor — it’s nowhere to be seen on the Moto Z2.

A 5.5-inch display and a Snapdragon 835 CPU

Android Authority believes that the Moto Z2 will feature a 5.5-inch display with a QHD resolution, the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset and will have either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Nothing’s confirmed, though.
