February is the month of love with Valentine’s Day, and to show the love, Motorola is slashing the price of the Moto Z2 Play by $150.

As part of its “Hello Love” Valentine’s Day sale, a word play on its catchy “Hello Moto” slogan, Motorola is offering a slew of discounts for its products, but none is bigger than the one for the Z2 Play. Normally selling for $499, the discount brings down the price of the Z2 Play to $349.99, undercutting devices like the OnePlus 5T and Essential Phone by a sizable margin.

The Moto Z2 Play is a mid-tier device that offers solid specs, but won’t wow you. Its 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 626 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and 3,000mAh specs all come in below what its bigger brother, the Z2 Force Edition.

At $499, I’d say go with an Essential Phone over the Z2 Play, but at $349, the Z2 Play instantly becomes much more appealing. It offers impressive specs, solid build quality and even saves you some money. You will also have the versatility of taking advantage of Moto Mods to add more functionality.

Aside from offering the one big deal, Motorola is also slashing the price of Moto Mods by 25-percent during its Hello Love sale and offering a $150 Moto Mod Alexa-powered speaker when you buy a Moto Z2 Force Edition, which unfortunately still costs $720.

Motorola’s discount on the Moto Z2 Play will run through February 17 while the other sales will run through February 25.
