Earlier today, we had our first glimpse at the new alleged “MotoMods” modules that will support the new Moto Z Play and Moto Z Style, expected from Lenovo during Lenovo Tech World on June 9. We weren’t quite sure what each module was at first – it appeared there was one with a kickstand and another with a camera, but little else was known. Now, Evan Blass aka @evleaks has shared a bit of additional information.

Apparently the photo you see above includes, from left-to-right, a projector, JBL speakers and a Hasselblad camera attachment. The projector probably sports some sort of pico-technology, which Lenovo has been including in some of its tablets for a few years now. The speakers are probably self-explanatory, likely just a set of stereo speakers that attach to the back of the phone. The Hasselblad attachment is interesting, that’s a big name among photographers, but could also mean big money. Maybe Motorola is just licensing the name? Maybe it adds a different lens? There does, as we originally reported, appear to be a Xenon flash.

We’ll know more about the MotoMods and the Moto Z smartphones they’ll work with come June 9.
