The day has finally arrived for Moto X fans on Verizon Wireless. The new device is now available for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. You can pick it up in black or white, but AT&T still has the exclusive on the Moto Maker tool that lets your pick your own colors and tweak a few other settings.

The Moto X joins a few other new Motorola devices on Verizon, including the DROID MAXX, DROID Ultra and DROID Mini, which offer some of the same features, such as the ability to speak "Ok Google Now" to execute a voice command. If you want the best battery life of the bunch, choose the DROID MAXX, which is advertised to offer up to 48 hours of usage time but costs $100 more.

The Moto X is one of our favorite Android smartphones right now. While its 10-megapixel camera leaves room for improvement, it offers a decent (though rather mid-range) Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, decent battery life and a great form factor.
