Motorola's highly anticipated budget version of the Moto X, dubbed the Moto G, will likely be announced on November 13. Motorola sent out "save the dates" to the press on Monday asking everyone to clear their calendars for November 13, though the company didn't provide any details on where an event might be held.

The company recently accidentally leaked the "Moto G" name on its own website, and we imagine it will come in at a more affordable price that the Moto X, maybe free with a contract, but with some of the smart Android features and custom options. Several rumors have suggested the Moto G will offer less storage than the Moto X and that customers will  be able to swap out different colored back panels on the phone.

According to evleaks, the device will pack a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a 4.7-inch screen, 8GB or 16GB of storage and an 8-megapixel camera. We've already freed up our calendars, so stay tuned for more information on the Moto G.
