One of the most requested features, according to Mojang and Microsoft, for the mobile version of Minecraft, is support for pistons. Well, Microsoft announced that addition to Minecraft: Pocket Edition and Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition this morning.
Minecraft for mobile will get pistons.
The trailer at the head of this post features a Rube Goldberg machine built entirely in Minecraft. As Microsoft and Mojang tease, the clip features tons of pistons and a Pocket Edition player getting in on the action.
This update will be free. They did not announce a release date for it, but they offer that they’ll have more details “in the coming weeks.”
