Mighty No. 9’s oft-delayed release finally has another finish line. A delay pushed Comcept’s Kickstarted indie game from Sept. 9 into 2016 earlier this month, and publisher Deep Silver has come out once again to confirm a new Feb. 9 release date.

The new release date speaks for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac and Linux versions of the game. Those looking to play it on the Vita or Nintendo 3DS will have to wait a bit longer for a TBA release date.

In addition to this news, Comcept also announced that the demo, which also saw a delay after being an apology present for the main game’s delay, is now available DRM-free through Humble Bundle. Backers who have an account there can head on over and download it now.

We’re finally coming to an end for this one. Let’s hope that this new release date sticks. If not, who knows? Maybe the live action movie will be released before the game gets finished. Or the animated series. Or any other product banking on the success of this unproven indie game. Maybe it will be released before the new Mega Man movie and animated series as well. I’m going to call it, but I don’t think it’s beyond impossible that we’ll have confirmation for Mega Man 11 before we play Mighty No. 9.

Mighty No. 9 will be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and and Linux on Feb 9. The PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS versions do not yet have a release date.
