Windows 10 is finally rolling out for computers and tablets, but the new operating system won’t start hitting smartphones until later this year. Now Microsoft has confirmed which Lumia devices are first in line for the update.

Speaking to Neowin, the company revealed the 10 Lumia devices slated to get Windows 10 initially. The list includes the Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 735, Lumia 830 and Lumia 930. Interestingly, that leaves out a few high-end devices like the Lumia 1520 along with cheaper models like the Lumia 520, Lumia 630 and Lumia 635.

Microsoft also notes that even more devices will get Windows 10 too. The company wants to eventually bring its new operating system to every phone running Lumia Denim, though not every Windows 10 feature will be included in the mobile version. For example, Windows Hello’s biometric security will require totally new hardware.

Microsoft still hasn’t said exactly how long we’ll have to wait before the first Windows 10 Lumia updates start to roll out. In the meantime there’s always the PC version to check out.
