Looking for a Lumia with a little more bling? Look no further than Microsoft's special edition Lumia 830 and Lumia 930, which are coming soon in black and white with a premium gold finish. Select models will be available as early as this week, while others will be appearing in February.

We recently saw leaked photos of an alleged limited-edition Lumia 830 in gold, but it had a leather finish on its back while the official models use plastic. They still carry a Nokia logo, however, so these devices were likely in development before the Finnish firm sold its handset business to Microsoft.

Not only are these special edition color options, then, but they'll almost certainly be the last Lumias with a Nokia logo.

The Lumia 830 Gold will be available in black and white starting next month. You'll be able to find it in select markets throughout Europe, Asia Pacific and China, India, the Middle East, and Africa. Microsoft says the "price will vary by region and operator."

The Lumia 930 Gold will also be available in black and white, and you'll be able to pick up the black model this week. The white one will then go on sale towards the end of this month. This handset will be available in the same markets as the Lumia 830 Gold.

Aside from their new paint jobs, these handsets are identical to the originals in terms of software and specifications. That means that with the Lumia 830 Gold you get a 5-inch ClearBlack display, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, a 2,200mAh battery, and a 10-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

The Lumia 930 Gold delivers a 5-inch 1080p display, a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, a 2,420mAh battery, and a 20-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics. It also has twice as much internal storage as the Lumia 830 (32GB), and 2GB of RAM.
