The Micro Drone 4.0 is the next-generation drone from Extreme Fliers that packs a lot of smart tech into a tiny drone that fits into the palm of your hand.
Extreme Fliers unveiled the new drone today that aims to bridge the gap between professional droning and casual users. The Micro Drone 4.0 is equipped with a Sony sensor that is capable of recording full 1080p HD video and utilizes a gimbal to stabilize the footage with 110 degrees of view. It can be controlled through the Micro Drone App or the available handheld booster controller.
The drone is the next iteration of the line that delivers the experience in a uber portable package. How small is it? It measures in at 4.7-inches wide and 1.5-inches tall and weighs 115g. That is smaller than most smartphones.
For however small it may be, it still packs a punch with impressive internals. It is powered by a Qualcomm-based chipset and uses the Neurala AI engine to control the camera through various shooting modes.
Other important notes about the Micro Drone 4.0’s performance are its impressive max speed of 30 miles per hour, 13-minute max hover time and connectivity up to 200 meter with the booster controller.
