MetroPCS announced Friday that it will begin selling the Samsung Galaxy S III on Oct. 22 without a contract for $499. Samsung's flagship Android smartphone will be avialable with the carrier's various service plans that range from $30 – $70 per month. MetroPCS will also offer a "limited-time" promotional plan with unlimited talk, text and 4G LTE data for $55 per month.
As a quick refresher, the Galaxy S III offers a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel camera, a 1.9-front facing camera for video chat, NFC, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and much more.
