Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is less than two weeks away. Even after the comparison videos and screenshots of the past month or so, each new set impresses me. This new batch of PlayStation 4 screenshots not only gives us more great looking views of the game in general, but also a look at Snake driving, the iDroid device he carries, and shots from the PlayStation exclusive bonus mission.
The iDroid is Snake’s 1980s answer to the smartphone and PDA, projecting maps and other information for the mission. For us, it’s a second screen. The app will be available on iOS and Android and will sync with all four versions of the game. In addition to showing a map of the game, you can call in air support and play the cassette tapes you find. It also works as a standalone game that lets you build up Mother Base in the currently undated Phantom Pain.
Both the Xbox and PlayStation versions are getting platform exclusive bonus missions. Xbox users will be able to step into Raiden’s cybernetic shoes to stop a body snatcher invasion. PlayStation fans have a much longer legacy with Metal Gear Solid, and the Deja Vu mission that accompanies the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game acknowledges that. Snake is reskinned with his 1998 PlayStation One look and will encounter enemies, other characters and, apparently, camera angles from the original title.
Whichever version you go with, Snake’s next sneaking mission is very close and looking great.

Use a chess clock to keep track of move and play times
These chess clocks feature dual clocks for players to control their own timers, and loud alarms so everyone knows when time is up. These clocks can be used for other 2-person games, like checkers, that may benefit from a game timer.
