Because you buy them up every holiday season, another slew of indistinguishable military shooters are flying onto shelves almost faster than they are flying off. EA's not-Battlefield series Medal of Honor is in rotation this year and is now on shelves for you to enjoy until next year, when you'll never play it again.

EA's newest trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter shows off the plot of the single player campaign, an afterthought for these shooters.

A group of soldiers tail a man through a sand covered town speaking over radios, soldiers jump from open helicopters on several fronts throughout the world, explosions, montages of patriotic images. Your rag tag group of soldier bro-mance it up and come inches from holding hands.

It's the kind of stuff that can really pump up the sales numbers of a video game. Too bad a large percent of you won't even bother with the campaign before racking up your kill count in online matches.

Medal of Honor Warfighter launches today on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Military shooter season 2012 is officially upon us! Break out the champagne!
