Press (and EA Access folks) have their hands on Mass Effect: Andromeda. Some gameplay videos have come out of all of that early play, and that means gamers are starting to really pour over the finer details.
Like character animations. Super obvious, immersion-breaking character animations. That means we’ve seen GIFs, reaction videos and screenshots that make Mass Effect: Andromeda look downright broken for some folks.
Have a look.
This is troubling, right?
I’m not ready to call Mass Effect: Andromeda a mess, simply because I haven’t played it. We’re supposed to get our copy the day before it launches, but that’s simply because we didn’t make the opening roster of sites with review access.
Could EA be trying to buy a bad game in a spring launch? I’m not sure. I doubt it.
Even still, these animations are troubling. If they’re this bad and as constant as it seems, this could be a problematic and potentially hilarious situation for the Mass Effect franchise.
Stay tuned. Mass Effect: Andromeda officially releases on March 21, 2017.
