Is there any thing more frustrating than being in an online match and having people quit because they aren't doing well?  They've died too many times, or are obviously going to lose to you, and they just up and quit to preserve their stats, or because they just don't care.  It makes you feel like you've wasted your time, and it's just annoying.

Capcom to the rescue!

In the soon to be released Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, Capcom has come up with a way to solve this issue.  The system will keep an invisible stat on players who continually quit, and after they have done it enough times they will be placed into a special matchmaking list.  What's special about the list?  It's only made up of other quitters.  In other words, it will become quitters vs. quitters, the only question will be who quits first.

This seems like the most just desert I've ever heard for those people who constantly quit.  Now, lets just do the same with all of the foul-mouthed kids and cheaters/modders, and at long last we'll have a happy little gaming world for all of us to enjoy.

What say you?  Do you think this is a fair way to treat quitters?
