The duo behind Avengers: Endgame are set to bring Magic: The Gathering to the small screen. The upcoming animated show will land exclusively on Netflix.

Magic: The Gathering will be a three-pronged effort, with Netflix, Wizards of the Coast, and Hasbro all putting their might behind the show.

In a press release, Netflix says the show will "expand on the stories of the Planeswalkers, which are Magic's unique magic-wielding heroes and villains as they content with stakes larger than any one world can hold."

"We've been huge fans and players of Magic: The Gathering for as long as it has been around, so being able to help bring these stories to life through animation is a true passion project for us," said Joe and Anthony Russo in a joint statement.

According to Chris Cocks, President of Wizards of the Coast, more people than ever are playing Magic: The Gathering than any time in its 25-year history—it was first introduced in 1993—which prompted talks to bring the game to life.

Some of the other talent being brought in includes Henry Gilroy (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and Jose Molina (The Tick), as well as creative tales from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Batman: The Animated Series, and The Lego Movies.

Netflix didn't announce a release date for the show, nor who will star.
