Nokia will reportedly launch the Lumia 928 in April on Verizon Wireless, but that might not be the only high-end smartphone coming out of Finland in the coming months. A photo of a prototype that is being dubbed the "Lumia 950" was leaked today (pictured above), and it may be the successor to the Lumia 928 and Lumia 920 when it launches.

According to WPCentral, the Lumia 950 will not ship with the rumored 41-megapixel shooter first found on the PureView 808, even though additional rumors suggest that a Lumia with that sort of camera is in the works. Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system and 2GB of RAM are on board, as is a 1280 x 768-pixel display, although the size was not mentioned. It's also still unclear what sort of processor the device will ship with, although we imagine it will be a dual-core chip similar to the processor in the Lumia 920.

The above image is just a prototype, so a release date and a price are still distant thoughts right now.
