Nokia officially unveiled the highly-anticipated Lumia 1520 at a special event earlier in today in Abu Dhabi, but unfortunately for U.S. customers the new phablet will launch as an AT&T exclusive. The news doesn’t come as much of a surprise; Nokia has offered similar exclusives to AT&T in the past, including the Lumia 1020 which launched earlier this year.

The Lumia 1520 comes equipped with a 6-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, a non-removable Li-Ion 3400mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage with a microSD support for adding up to 64GB of additional storage. The device also features a 20-megapixel PureView rear camera, a 1.2-megapixel secondary shooter, 4 built-in microphones, and runs Windows Phone 8.

We still don’t know how much the Lumia 1520 will cost on AT&T, though Nokia says it’s priced at $749 off-contract. The company also didn’t say when the device will launch, though we’re expecting a Q4 release in the U.S.
