Microsoft opened up pre-orders on the Lumia 1520 today, promising to ship Nokia’s new phablet on Nov. 15 for $199 with a two-year AT&T contract. The device is also available off-contract for $549.
The Lumia 1520 comes equipped with a 6-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Qulacomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 3400mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 20-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs Windows Phone 8 with Microsoft’s GDR3 update and comes in red, yellow, white or black.
While international versions of the Lumia 1520 will includes built-in wireless Qi charging, AT&T has removed this feature for the U.S. model. Instead, the carrier will sell a wireless charging case for the device which supports the competing PMA standard.
