LocoRoco is out on the PlayStation 4 today in remastered form.

There were some genuine gems developed, launched and sold on the PSP. One of its best games was definitely LocoRoco. The series had three marquee entries with the last coming in 2009, and you know what? I had all of them.

This game had players rolling and merging globs of, I don’t know, Locos? Rocos? You rolled them up and leaped in unison or broke them apart to squeeze into holes. It forced some creative problem solving and some really interesting physics systems into a portable device.

Now it has been remastered and is available on the PlayStation 4 as a digital purchase. The music, the colors and the addictive gameplay are all in place to wow us once again, only this time they’re doing it on the television.

Now in 4K and with motion control

LocoRoco Remastered can be played with the DualShock 4’s motion control by tilting and twisting the input device in order to roll the personable goop about the stage. It can also be enjoyed in 4K, if you have a PlayStation 4 Pro and a 4K capable display, of course.

Don’t dismiss this game if you don’t dig the visuals. It’s awesome, I promise.
