BlackBerry introduced a limited edition red BlackBerry Z10 smartphone in February, when it said that the device would be available to developers who met specific criteria. Now, the phone is beginning to arrive on doorsteps, as we can see in the above image that was provided to CrackBerry.

Apparently BlackBerry had been rather mum on when the devices were going to ship, and instead only said that developers could expect them within 8 weeks of the original Z10 launch.

The company only made 12,000 limited edition units and they are only available to developers who turned in their BlackBerry Alpha B and BlackBerry Alpha C devices, and who have an application that's been published in BlackBerry World.
