Here’s a bit of a surprise that happened over the weekend: LG unveiled two new smartphones that will be on display during Mobile World Congress. Nope, neither is the LG G5, though that will be at the show, too. While the G5 will likely pack the best hardware it can, these phones place importance on a single piece of hardware. The LG X Cam, for example, has a beefed up camera. The LG X Screen, well, you get the idea.
LGs X Cam features a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a 1.14Ghz processor, a 13MP camera and two front-facing cameras, including a 5MP shooter and an 8MP shooter. Other hardware specs include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and Marshmallow.
The X Screen features a 4.93-inch HD display and a secondary 1.76-inch display with a 520 x 80-pixel resolution. This secondary display is always on and builds on what we first saw with the LG V10. Other specs include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 13MP camera, an 8MP front-facing camera and Marshmallow.
Both phones are set to debut in Asia, Europe and Latin America next month.
