In releasing the V40 ThinQ, LG took a very similar path as OnePlus when it released the OnePlus 6 earlier this year. LG and OnePlus both went from a standard and impressive device (V30 and 5T) to one that adopts the current design fads of the notch.

As a result, both companies went with the trends instead of trying to differentiate themselves. Some will hate this while others won’t mind it, yet in the end, the decision resulted in two very similar devices.

There are still major differences such as price point, display quality and camera systems, and deciding between the two will come down solely to customer priorities.

Use the spec comparison down to decide which is better, the V40 ThinQ or the OnePlus 6?
