It looks like LG has attached the wireless charging coil to the midframe as opposed to embedding it in the back panel, leading us to believe the handset will sport a glass back.

According to a recent report, the V30 won’t ship with the V series’ famous secondary display, which is used to show important information when the handset is asleep.

The report also notes that LG will adopt an OLED panel for the V30 instead of using the same LCD screen as its predecessor, because it’s a lot more power-efficient.

The V30 could be unveiled at IFA inSeptember

Sources allegedly familiar with the firm’s plans claim that the V30 will sport a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and will be unveiled at the annual IFA trade show in September.
