LG SpectrumNot even a week into 2012, we’re seeing a spate of tantalizing leaks. The LG Spectrum (formerly known as the Revolution 2), a 4.5-inch, 4G LTE, 1.5GHz dual-core monster will reportedly be available for Verizon Wireless customers on January 19. No price-point was offered, but DroidLife estimates this puppy will hit in the $249-$299 range on two-year contract. Unfortunately, the Spectrum comes preloaded with the “that’s-so-last-year” Android 2.3. Give us Ice Cream Sandwich!

The LG Spectrum comes equipped with 4.5-inch HD display (329ppi) with Real Stripe pixel arrangement (not PenTile), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video recording (1.3 megapixel front), 1GB RAM, 4GB of on-board storage (microSD expandable), 4G LTE, Android 2.3 and Swype. In addition, the Spectrum will support up to 10 mobile hotspot connections and come preloaded with exclusive Verizon HD content, including Netflix HD and ESPN Scorecenter HD access.

If LG’s latest device sounds like the smartphone for you, you’re only two weeks away from enjoying this high-end device. Are you excited?
