LG Nitro vs. Samsung Galaxy S2

In the past six months, how many times have you read, “The best Android phone I’ve ever used?” The trend seems to be that each new handset that hits the market is met with a reception similar to yesterday’s “best ever” Android device – Droid Razr, HTC Rezound and the soon-to-be-released Galaxy Nexus. Is the LG Nitro next in line?

In comparison to the seminal Samsung Galaxy S II, LG’s Nitro looks to be your standard Android-fare. In this case, however, it doesn’t sound like such a bad thing. How it’ll stand out from other high-end devices is a question that will need answering when the smartphone hits December 4 ($249.99 with two-year contract). Could it be the Nitro’s True HD AH-IPS (720×1280) display?

Check out the table to see if LG’s latest can compete with one of the industry juggernauts.
