LG Nexus4 in Carphone Warehouse inventory

British retailer Carphone Warehouse has added black and white variants of the "LG Nexus4" to its internal database. While we've seen photographs of an LG Nexus device a number of times this week, this is the first time we've seen the handset given the Nexus 4 moniker.

That is, of course, if this listing matches the photos we've seen — which we can only assume it does at this stage. Unfortunately, the Carphone Warehouse inventory doesn't provide us with any more information on the device when it comes to specs.

Having said that, rumors have suggested that LG's Nexus smartphone will be closely based on the new Optimus G, which features a 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 display. It is also said to pack a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of shooting 1080p video. It will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed as one would expect from the next iteration of the Nexus line.

While these listings could simply be errors that mean nothing, it's looking increasingly likely that an LG Nexus smartphone is on its way. All we have to do now is sit back and wait for it.
