LG announced its latest flagship smartphone last month, but the powerful new handset may not hit the market here in the U.S. until mid-July. A new tip from @evleaks reveals Verizon’s plans to release the LG G3 on July 17 after pre-orders open up a week earlier on the 10th.

For the time being Verizon’s website still lists the LG G3 as “coming soon,” with the option to enter your email address and receive early updates when pre-orders open. AT&T and T-Mobile offer just as little information, while Sprint’s LG G3 landing page promises the device is coming in July 2014. Will LG’s new smartphone launch on all four major carriers at the same time? It’s certainly possible, though for now there’s still no guarantee the U.S. release won’t be staggered.

The LG G3 is one of the most impressive smartphones we’ve seen so far this year, offering high-end specs, a sleek design and a massive quad HD display. We’re still putting the device through its paces before finishing up our review, though from what we’ve seen so far LG may set a new bar when it comes to Android handsets.
