The LG G Watch will be available to order from the Google Play Store and will sell for $229, $30 more than the Samsung Gear Live that will also start shipping on July 7.

LG recently posted a new splash page with information on what the G Watch offers. The device will launch in black titan or white gold, is water resistant, features an always-on 1.65-inch IPS display and a 22mm interchangeable strap. It’s also equipped with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor (that’s some serious power for a smartwatch), 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and a 400mAh battery. Of course you’ll also have constant access to Google Now, notifications from Google and third-party applications and more.

We’ll let you know when you can order one, it shouldn’t be much longer now, and stay tuned for our hands-on.
