It’s been more than a year since LG unveiled the G Flex 2, and the flexible smartphone series may finally be making a comeback. A new report claims the company is planning to reveal the long-rumored LG G Flex 3 later this year at IFA 2016.
The device apparently features a modular build like the LG G5. If true, that means the G Flex 3 could support the same “G5 Friends” modules.
LG’s new phone should also come packed with high-end specs. That includes a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of expandable storage. The G Flex 3 could also sport dual rear cameras (16-megapixel and 8-megapixel), along with an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter.
We’ve always been big fans of LG’s flexible smartphones, and adding a Quad HD resolution and modularity could make the Flex series even better. Still, we wouldn’t get to excited just yet until the device leaks again from a more reputable source.
