Sprint's new LTE network already has its share of high-end LTE-capable devices, but the Now Network doesn't appear to be forgetting about its more frugal customer base. Budget conscious LTE-ready handsets such as the LG Viper, are set to receive some friendly company in the form of an unannounced slider known as the LG Cayenne.

We saw a render of this handset almost a couple of months ago, but this time it's been caught in the wild. To refresh your memory, this modest handset is said to feature a 4-inch WVGA display, a Qualcomm MSM8960 processor, a 5-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and Ice Cream Sandwich.

It is not exactly a top of the line device, but it's also far from the bottom of the barrel. We expect this handset to appeal to those who want an LTE device without spending big bucks on a smartphone. Perhaps we will see a battle of the budget phones if the Cayenne is released alongside the upcoming Samsung SPH-L300.
