I'll be completely honest. I hadn't even heard of Sunless Sea until a week or so ago. Then, suddenly, it was all I heard about.

This roguelike adventure puts players in charge of a ship, its crew and its destinations. You'll fight massive monsters, other humans and make tough decisions as you move about the "zee" in this horrible version of the future.

The game is gorgeous, and you'll see its simple beauty in motion as I play it for you above. One note, and I apologize for this, I have a throat lozenge in my mouth for the first few minutes. Sorry for the sore throat and awful sound effects, but that's the only way I would have made it through roughly 40 minutes of play here.

Sunless Sea is a wonderful game. If you like tough stuff that requires a bit more reading and thinking, you'll want to check it out.
