If you’re gearing up for some holiday shopping this year and have your sights on a new laptop or tablet, look no further than some of Lenovo’s latest products that just hit store shelves in time for the holiday season.
Two of our favorite products are the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro and the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. The former is arguably one of the best Windows machines available right now, while the latter is an Android tablet with a bonus feature you won’t find on any other comparable tablet on the market right now.
Lets take a look at both products now, and what makes them so special.
Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro
We fell in love with the Yoga 3 Pro when Lenovo introduced it back in early October. It starts at $1,299.99 and features a brand-new Intel Core M processor clocked at 1.10GHz, a 64-bit copy of Windows 8.1 out of the box, a stunning 13.3-inch 3200 x 1800-pixel display, Intel HD Graphics 4300, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD out of the box.
We’ve been using it for the past few weeks, and we’re most attracted to the amazing and unique hinge, which lets you flip the screen around a full 360-degrees, allowing you to use it in tablet mode, in a tent mode for viewing movies or, of course, just like a standard laptop. That hinge, too, looks beautiful, like dozens of metal watchlinks, and has the strength to support the display in any mode.
Also, measuring just 0.5-inches thin, it’s easy to port around in any bag and is incredibly light, meaning you won’t get shoulder strain after a long day walking around with it. If you need a new laptop, put this at the top of your list.
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and features a 13.3-inch 2560 x 1440-pixel display and an Intel Atom processor. It follows in the footsteps of Lenovo’s other Yoga tablets with a unique kickstand design that allows you to prop the device up on your desk easily, and is built out of aluminum, which helps it look and feel much more premium than its competitors.
Remember that bonus feature we talked about earlier? It also packs a pico-projector into the side bezel, which allows you to mirror your display on any surface, allowing you to project up to a 50-inch screen. That means you can project presentations and games, or just kick back and watch a movie, all with the flick of a button.
You might expect something like this to break the bank, but the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro costs just $469.99 direct from Lenovo, which is pretty incredible given the first-class design, solid specs and that pico-projector functionality.
There are a lot of choices this holiday season, but these are two top products we think will fit the bill quite well, and Lenovo is offering free-shipping on both products, so you don’t have to worry about added costs during checkout.
