A new video posted by Lenovo suggests the company has plans to release an Ice Cream Sandwich-equipped tablet in the near future, though no release date was shared. The tablet, dubbed IdeaTab 2109, will feature a 9.7-inch screen — the same size as Apple's iPad — with a 1024 x 768 resolution, an 8.9mm frame, a 1.3-megapixel front shooter, SRS Trumedia audo tech, four speakers and a battery that will supposedly last for up to ten hours. In addition, Lenovo's tablet will sport a unibody shell and a gunmetal finish. From what we could tell from the video, it doesn't look like Android 4.0 is skinned in any way, meaning consumers may get a pretty good mid-range tablet running a vanilla version of Google's newest OS. The device apparently strolled through the FCC last month, so perhaps we'll see the IdeaPad 2109 in the United States fairly soon.
