Lenovo has teamed up with Razer to deliver a new lineup of Razer-branded gaming PCs. Available in 2016, the new Y series of desktops takes advantage of the "manufacturing, supply chain and channel relationships" of both companies to deliver what Lenovo calls a revolutionary gaming experience.

The first machine from that series is the Lenovo Razer Edition desktop pictured above, with a case that takes design cues from other Razer products. It has a glowing "Y" on its front and other Chroma lights around its case, which users can customize to change up its look.

Sadly, there's not much to say about what's inside the case, because Lenovo hasn't confirmed that yet. The juicy details will be revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January, so we'll have to wait until then to see exactly what the Y series will be packing, and how much it will cost.

If it's anything like Razer's existing machines, however, you can expect high-end specifications at high-end prices.

Lenovo already offers its own Y series gaming laptops, but they're not exactly iconic among the gaming community — and certainly not as exciting as Razer's own notebooks. But with the Razer brand behind them, the Y series desktop lineup should be more successful.
