Remember Amazon’s Echo Spot? It’s a circular alarm clock with a 2.5-inch display that’s perfect for your nightstand. Well, Lenovo is doing one better with its new Smart Clock, which features a 4-inch display and several exciting smart features.
One of the things Lenovo’s Smart Clock can do is display alarm suggestions based on a person’s daily routine. So, if you’re routinely waking up at 6 a.m. during the week but waking up at 8 a.m. on the weekend, the Smart Clock will dynamically suggest these alarms, while also taking into account when you go to sleep.
And thanks to the device’s 4-inch display, the Smart Clock is capable of auto-adjusting screen brightness to gently wake you up, kind of like those wake-up lights everyone talks about.
One of the Smart Clock’s other features will allow you to control your smart home devices, just as you would with a Google Home or Google Home Mini.
Last year, Lenovo jumped on the smart display trend by releasing two versions of its Smart Display—a device we loved. We have every reason to believe that the company’s new Smart Clock will be just as thoughtful.
We’ll find out when the Lenovo Smart Clock launches this spring for $79.
