It seems that things have not gone well in Bricksburg since the original LEGO Movie. The LEGO Movie 2 trailer makes you wonder if a Mad Max LEGO set may be on the way based on the way the city looks.
Bricksburg is falling apart, but there isn’t any indication yet as to why. Emmet (Chris Pratt) is still happy with his life, despite Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) trying to convince him to accept things are not good. Then a new alien threat arrives, kidnaps all of Emmet’s friends and it’s up to him to rescue them. Will his Master Builder skills be up to the task?
We’ll have to wait until next year to find out.
The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part hits theaters on Feb. 8, 2019.
