Yesterday, we got a close-up look at the Galaxy S6. Now the flagship phone and its “Edge” variant have leaked out again, this time showing the rumored handsets powered on as well.

On the left, you can see what looks like the Galaxy S6 Edge running the latest version of TouchWiz. It appears to be pretty similar to previous versions of the Android UI, though rumor has it Samsung’s scaled back its software significantly. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 display shows a quick benchmark of the device, though it’s a bit too blurry to make out the results.

The physical design shown here looks identical to the most recent leaks, offering what appears to be a metal frame, thin bezels and a protruding rear camera. The home button also seems to be a bit bigger, possibly as a result of an improved fingerprint-reader in the new device. Overall though, the Galaxy S6 looks like a pretty sweet smartphone.

Beyond a fresh design, Samsung’s latest phone is expected to offer the latest hardware, including a Quad HD display, an octa-core Exynos processor, improved cameras and a new mobile payments feature. The final result should be a powerful new Android handset with a great design to match, and the new Galaxy S6 lineup can’t come soon enough.

The new devices are expected to be unveiled on March 1 at an event in Spain. TechnoBuffalo will be bringing you all of the coverage live as it happens.
